Gul Fireball National Championships 2018 – Final Results
“I wanted to thank .. all Penzance SC members, for looking after the Fireball fleet so well during last week’s National Championship.
Whilst the gods didn’t really want to know when it came to providing decent winds, PzSC members more than made up for it with their warm welcome, friendly assistance and co-operative approach. Of course, the Fireball class knows PzSC well so none of this was a surprise to us; it’s nice to know the relationship endures!”

“What an awesome day to close out the Selden Merlin Rocket Championships in Penzance….”
“The second reach was truly epic; pretty much straight down the waves, with huge holes in water, crews at the back of the bus and centreboards screaming. It was worth the entry fee alone!”

“Penzance SC hosted fantastic championships, with well-organized racing in brilliantly testing conditions, and a warm and welcoming team at the clubhouse. The pasties hit the spot, the Cornish ale flowed freely, and tales of nautical derring-do abound. It was a fitting celebration to mark the 50th anniversary of the class”
