Enterprise National Championships 2023

Saturday 27 to Wednesday 31 May 2023

This May sees the return of the Enterprise National Championship at Penzance Sailing Club. We
are especially delighted to be hosting, as it’s 50 years since the fleet were here last in 1973.

Well over 200 boats were competing, a record that could well still stand for a 2 person dinghy.

Registration opens on Saturday 27 May, and racing will take place from Sunday 28 to
Wednesday 31 May.

Notice of Race

The racing area is a large bay with very little tidal stream, which makes an excellent venue for a championship. Boats will launch from a sheltered slipway in Penzance harbour, with assistance from our volunteers who will also help with recovery.

A great advantage of sailing at Penzance is the close proximity of the clubhouse, boat storage and slipway.

The town itself is only a short walk across the car park, and for non sailors we have some
amazing beaches, galleries and many other tourist attractions nearby.

However, if you prefer to watch the racing, we have a large screen in the clubhouse that can stream the racing from the webcam overlooking the race area.

There will be more info to follow but if you have any questions please get in touch.
