Tehidy Walk

The Club’s winter programme continued on Sunday 31st January with a thoroughly enjoyable Winter Walk organised by Suzannah.

Seventeen walkers and four dogs enjoyed a very blustery and muddy walk across Reskajeage Downs coastal path. The group then followed field paths to Coombe, turning left along the road, until reaching the entrance to Tehidy Woods. The walk continued along West Drive to Otter Bridge, here the dog walkers took a different route, while the rest continued through the wild life area which didn’t disappoint.

The two groups met again at the cafe for refreshments – except for the four legged companions who were made to stay outside and were seen gazing longingly in at the cake.

Feeling thoroughly refreshed – the walkers returned to car park via the Tramway trail.

The next date in the calendar is an unmissable Bike Ride organised by Brian 7thFebruary – all ages welcome. All meet at Flora Motors Car Park in Helston at 11.00 – cycling around Loe Pool to Porthleven for lunch.
