Last week, delayed by a year, we hosted the National Championships for the Scorpion Class. Results and report can be found here

The annual race to St Ives takes place on Saturday 6th July with the return the following day

After the recent busy week of the UK Fireball Nationals held at Penzance last week, the club was full of the regular old faces and some new ones, as the home races kicked off again.
Over the last week, we have been proud to host the UK Fireball Class for the Gul Fireball Nationals 2018.
After a successful yet tricky week on the water, the final results have now been published.
A great day today for the COGS Falmouth-Penzance race, held by Penzance Sailing Club and sponsored by A2 Rigging.
We saw the clubhouse full with all the competitors having finally made it around, in challenging light winds but glorious sunshine.
The weather was perfect on Saturday for the 2018 club regatta.
Thanks again to all who made the day possible on the safety boats and also to Brian and Liz who did great work in the race office with help from Adrian, Theresa (and Dave) put in the long hours in the galley and BBQ, and Colin who was everywhere from Courselayer to Deepsea to bar.
14 boats launched this evening into a serious breeze! In the Enterprise fleet, Tom Kliskey led from start to finish, lapping Colin Stephens and Laura Kickers, who were having an uncompetitive fun sail.
